Cracks in the plaster, settled walls, uneven floors, and bouncy floors
An uneven floor is caused by movement of the supporting structure under it. These supporting structures are called joists. They can move because of natural house settling, or they can sometimes move due to poor drainage. This movement can also cause a number of other symptoms. Bouncy floors are often found where there is little support left under the floor. In effect, the floor becomes like a trampoline. Vertical cracks in the plaster can also be found, and are a syptom of poor support under the walls. The good news is that it can be fixed! There are a number of solutions to this problem, depending upon the exact cause. Use our contact page to get in touch with a trained engineer at Advanced Engineering Construction today.
